DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]\nMEMBERS & INVITATION ONLY \nJoin us for the next Meeting of EACC Florida’s Task Force Transportation\, Logistics & Customs \nWith eCommerce giants like Amazon moving aggressively to control the entire logistics chain — from first mile to final delivery — the competitive landscape is shifting rapidly. This growing push for end-to-end supply chain ownership is prompting other online giants to follow suit\, creating unprecedented disruption in warehousing\, customs\, and fulfillment models.\n\nJoin us for a discussion exploring how European and transatlantic businesses can adapt. We’ll examine the operational\, technological\, and compliance challenges of supporting high-velocity eCommerce\, and how companies can leverage warehouse automation\, integrated data solutions\, and strategic partnerships to stay ahead.\n\nFor this interactive discussion\, we will be joined by Vera NIEUWLAND\, a digital commerce strategist currently leading the service line for Digital Transformation at Kaufman Rossin in conversation with Oleksii YAREMENKO\, Director of Global Services\, North America at LeverX.\n\nEXPERT SPEAKERS\n\n Vera NIEUWLAND\, Director\, Business Consulting Services – Kaufman Rossin\n Oleksii YAREMENKO\, Director of Global Services\, North America – LeverX \n\nEVENT SCHEDULE\n\n11.30 AM – 11.45 AM:   Arrivals & Registration\n11.45 AM – 1.30 PM:     Program\n1.30 PM – 2.00 PM:      Lunch & Networking\n\nLocation to be communicated to registered attendees only.\n\nWHO SHOULD ATTEND:  executives and senior professionals from European companies\, European executives\, or executives from Florida-based companies with transatlantic business interests in transportation\, logistics\, customs\, warehousing\, and eCommerce. This session is designed for decision-makers who want to exchange insights\, share best practices\, and explore innovative strategies for high-velocity eCommerce fulfillment.\n\n EACC Florida Members: Register HERE\n EACC Florida Non Members: if wish to receive an invitation\, please contact csleszynska@eaccfl.com indicating “Task Force Meeting Invitation Request” in the subject line.\n\nSPEAKER BIOGRAPHIES\n\nVera Nieuwland is a Director in Kaufman Rossin’s business consulting services practice\, leading the service line for Digital Transformation. As a digital commerce strategist with deep expertise in helping consumer brands and B2B companies grow and modernize their business through technology and applied AI\, she brings a unique dual perspective\, having led digital transformation initiatives both as a consultant and as an in-house operator at a high-growth e-commerce portfolio company. At Kaufman Rossin\, Vera advises mid-market clients on how to harness digital tools and artificial intelligence to optimize operations\, elevate customer experiences\, and unlock new revenue streams. Her work centers on practical AI applications that drive measurable business impact\, from automating decision processes to enhancing demand planning and logistics.\n\nVera’s approach blends strategy\, process and product thinking\, and a deep understanding of how to make emerging technologies work in the real world. She is passionate about helping organizations navigate the fast-changing digital landscape to build agile\, tech-enabled business models that are people centric.\n\n \n\nAs Director of Global Services at LeverX\, Oleksii Yeremenko is responsible for service offerings and ensuring the smooth delivery of digital transformation journeys for customers worldwide. For over a decade\, Oleksii has participated in numerous SAP implementations and technology programs\, guiding companies to elevate their businesses with cutting-edge solutions and technologies.\n\nIn 2023\, he played an active role in relocating LeverX Headquarters to Miami\, Florida\, and moved there in August 2023 to oversee the HQ operations. Born in Ukraine\, Oleksii moved with his family to Minsk\, Belarus\, in 1994\, where he completed school and earned a degree in Telecommunications Engineering. In 2019\, he returned to Ukraine to establish LeverX’s operations\, growing it from the ground up into a fully functional delivery location. Oleksii is a proud husband and father to a little princess.\n\nThis program is kindly hosted by \n\n \n\n\n\nWhy a dedicated Task Force?\n\nWith the second-largest foreign trade zone network in the U.S.\, Florida is home to 11\,500+ logistics and distribution establishments. The broader wholesale trade\, transportation\, and logistics industry accounts for over 67\,000+ establishments and employs more than half a million individuals across the state. Evolving geopolitics\, recurring supply chain disruptions\, the “greening” of the industry and increasing regulatory requirements are impacting global trade and it is expected that trade will become less global and more regionalized with a renewed focus on the Transatlantic Corridor – North America\, Latin America and Europe.\n\nWhile there are a number of entities and professional groups – federal\, State and local – that serve these industries and their professionals to advance their interests\, few if any have a transatlantic focus or specifically serve European companies and professionals from these industries present in Florida. And whereas specific know-how and expertise represent a competitive advantage for any company\, the issues confronted by the sector are the same for all.\n\nEACC Florida’s Task Force is loosely inspired from a similar TF run by EACC Auvergne-Rhone-Alps: https://eacc-ra.com/task-forces/.\n\nMission: to bring together active professionals who understand the benefits of sharing best practices across industries\, ensuring that there is no silo thinking.\n\nRole: to organize meetings on a regular basis to address strategic issues\, share findings and best practices and make mutual recommendations for improvement in a given sector of activity. Chatham House rules or any other confidentiality rule might be used to allow for open exchange during the meetings.\n\nTask Force Members: representatives of EACC Florida Member companies with interests in the transportation/logistics industry invited to serve on the Task Force.\n\nIf you wish to receive further details about the Task Force\, please contact Christina Sleszynska at csleszynska@eaccfl.com\n\nMany thanks to our Task Force Members![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_images_carousel images=”35959\,36190\,35975\,35968″ onclick=”link_no” mode=”vertical” slides_per_view=”4″ css=””][/vc_column][/vc_row]
