For the first time since it launched in February 2020, the EACC Florida welcomed participants to an in-person program held on November 30 at Greenberg Traurig on “International Travel Rules & Immigration Back-Logs: Back to Business as Usual or Long-Term Impact?”
Speakers included Scott Bettridge, Immigration Practice Chair at Cozen O’Connor and Peter Cerda, Regional Vice President for the Americas at the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
Warmly welcomed by EACC Florida President Alan Sutin and Executive Director Christina Sleszynska, attendees made the most of the opportunity to exchange with the speakers and attendees about the impact of the past 20 months on their companies, staff and clients, current situation and expectations for the future. The surge of infections across Europe, uncertainties around the new Omicron strain prompting new border closures and travel restrictions three weeks after the re-opening of the US borders to international travel rendered this program particularly timely !
