EU law requires certain large companies to disclose non-financial information on the way they operate and manage social and environmental challenges. Following a review of the (Non-Financial Reporting Directive, “NFRD”), the European Commission proposed a new corporate sustainability reporting directive (CSRD) that would replace the NFRD and amend the current reporting rules.
