EU – Mercosur

EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell met in September with the foreign ministers of the Mercosur countries — which includes Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay — in a push to make progress on the long-stalled trade deal. The meeting on the fringes of the U.N. General Assembly in New York is the latest attempt to make progress ahead of the G20 in November.
