The Consular Reception held by Miami Dade County’s International Trade Consortium (ITC) in Miami on October 26 was a lovely opportunity to meet the Consular Corps present in Florida, local officials and key actors of Miami’s international community.
Notably, EACC Florida extends a warm welcome to Sarah Kavanagh, Consul General of Ireland in Florida. This is a new Consulate and 7th from Europe – the others being France, Germany, Italy, Romania, Spain and the UK.
It was good to catch up with Catalin Ghenea, Consul General of Romania in Florida.
We also bid farewell to Susan Harper, Consul General of Canada who after a remarkable tenure in Florida will be leaving the Sunshine State for the Lonestar State.
