Members and Friends braved Miami’s legendary evening traffic to join EACC Florida and Cozen O’Connor on Thursday November 21st for EACC Florida’s first Beaujolais Nouveau Day Business Mixer. The event was hosted by President’s Circle Member Cozen O’Connor in the Lobby of the Southeast Financial Center.
Guests met and mingled over tasty bites and were among the first to taste the Beaujolais Nouveau 2024. As a special educational treat, Karine Malifarge, Owner of Mrs. Wine Agency offered insights into the history of the Beaujolais Nouveau, its cultural and gastronomic significance in France and across Europe, how it has become a “thing” in the US – including in business/monetary terms, and of course some taste notes into the 2024 vintage of the wine – which everyone was discovering for the first time.
We were delighted to welcome as special guests EACC Florida Vice-President and our Host Scott Bettridge (Cozen O’Connor), EACC Florida President Alan Sutin (Greenberg Traurig), Miami Dade County Commissioner Eileen Higgins, International Trade Consortium Executive Director Gerard Philippeaux, and two EACC Florida Young Voices from the Future, Scylla Blervacq and Bryan Soudrain.
