On September 30, EACC Florida and the Enterprise Europe Network brought together economic development, legal and entrepreneurial perspectives to explore why Florida has become an increasingly attractive entry point for European companies expanding into the United States.
The conversation examined Florida’s business environment and international connectivity; Miami’s evolution as a technology and startup hub; and the practical considerations European SMEs should address when entering the U.S. market—from regulatory planning and professional support to building the right local relationships.
The discussion featured:
- Jaret Davis, Co-Managing Shareholder, Miami, Greenberg Traurig
- Pere Francino, Founder and CEO, CityVitae
- Marta Morellato, Investor Services and Aftercare Manager, SelectFlorida
- Christina Sleszynska, Executive Director, EACC Florida, as moderator
Thomas Steiert, Project Adviser at the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA), and Christos Skouras, Policy Officer at DG GROW, European Commission, provided introductory and closing remarks.
The webinar was jointly organized by the European American Chamber of Commerce Florida and the Enterprise Europe Network, with the support of the European Commission.
