EACC Florida was delighted to welcome a group of 13 EdTech startups from Poland on a business mission to Miami on June 11-13, 2025.
The group was led to our Magic City by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP), the largest public institution supporting SME development in Poland. The objective was to explore South Florida’s tech ecosystem and the various educational entities / local accelerators, identify partners and/or business opportunities and learn about the realities of doing business in the United States.
The 3-day program was put together by EACC Florida in cooperation with Member Companies, local partners and PARP.
As part of our “Why Florida” Series, first on the program on June 11th in the morning was a “Why Florida? What Business Leaders Need to Know when Considering Expanding into the US/Florida” seminar. The seminar was kindly hosted by LeverX and panelists drawn from EACC Florida Member Companies included:
- Jordan Chisholm, Vice Chair, Office Managing Partner – Cozen O’Connor
- Makiel Morciego, International Tax Director – Kaufman Rossin
- Anielka Nortelus, Senior Associate – Fragomen
- Siarhei Shukaila, Director Strategic Accounts Delivery – LeverX
The group also had meetings with the Miami Dade County Beacon Council, the AI Center at Miami Dade College, SelectFlorida, the Alan B. Levan I NSU Broward Center of Innovation, Mana Tech, as well as with local tech entrepreneurs and founders.
Some of the start-up leaders already have clients in the US and want to step up their business here. For others, it was their first contact with the US. All were clearly impressed by what Florida has to offer and the quality of the welcome they received.
