On June 10, EACC Florida and the Swiss American Chamber of Commerce Florida were pleased to welcome members and guests to our joint program, From Europe to the Americas: Perspectives on How European Brands Establish and Scale in the United States and the Americas, kindly hosted by EFG Capital International Corp.
Moderated by EACC Florida Executive Director Christina Sleszynska, the discussion featured outstanding contributions from Emmanuel Bütler of NORQAIN Watches US, Jeremy Arditi of Montreux Jazz Festival Miami, and Ricardo Aramburo Williams of Mowery & Schoenfeld. Drawing from their diverse experiences, the panelists shared valuable insights and personal observations on the opportunities and challenges European companies encounter when expanding into the United States and the wider Americas.
While the perspectives varied, one common theme emerged throughout the evening: adaptation.
Successful companies do not simply replicate what worked in their home markets. They adapt to local realities and the changing environment, build trusted relationships, and remain flexible while staying true to the values and strengths that define their brands.
We extend our sincere thanks to EFG Capital International Corp. for their warm hospitality and support. A special thank you as well to our partners at the Swiss American Chamber of Commerce Florida for their collaboration, partnership, and attention to detail. The Swiss wines served during the reception were a much-appreciated touch and added to an evening marked by insight, connection, and transatlantic exchange.
Most importantly, thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this well-attended event a success.
