On October 12, as part of our “Why Florida” Series, EACC Florida hosted a group of companies and clusters from across Europe with business in the rail industry.
The delegation was led by the leading meta-cluster of the railway industry in Europe uniting 16 innovation clusters from 16 European countries and itself representing 2.000 small and medium-sized businesses in the Railway industry. In addition to the cluster representatives, large and small companies from Italy, Spain and Germany attended the briefing.
The purpose of the visit to Miami was to learn about the rail landscape and public procurement opportunities in S. Florida as well as about what business leaders need to know when considering expanding their business to the United States and Florida. Speakers were drawn from te EACC Florida membership and relevant local public offices.
Before travelling to Miami, the group attended the APTA Expo in Orlando.
