Eva Cuinet is 21. Born and raised in Paris, France, she comes from an artistic family: her mother is from Paris, her father is from Cannes, and both work in the film industry. She also has a half-sister who divides her time between Miami and New York.
Between the ages of 11 and 13, Eva lived in Miami with her father, attended George Washington Carver Middle School and learned English from scratch. She later returned to Paris and graduated from high school in 2023.
Eva then came back to Miami to attend Florida International University, graduating earlier this year with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. After beginning a master’s program at FIU, she decided to pause her studies and gain practical experience while determining her next step.
During her studies, Eva interned with FIU’s Jean Monnet European Center of Excellence, supporting programs and events promoting transatlantic dialogue. She also interned with the Programs and Events team in the Miami-Dade County Mayor’s Office. She is now exploring professional opportunities in Miami, New York and Washington, D.C., particularly within international organizations and government.
Fluent in French and English, with an intermediate command of Spanish, Eva is well traveled and enjoys Miami’s multicultural character and life-style. She loves dance, music, theater, museums and, naturally, cinema.
What does she miss most about France? Roquefort cheese served with a fresh baguette.
Curious, adaptable and internationally minded, Eva is gaining experience, exploring new opportunities and gradually shaping a path of her own.
